About
About Amaanyivolt
An energy infrastructure developer with Ugandan roots, connecting Africa with Korean technology and finance.
Why we exist
Africa has the world’s richest solar resource, yet 600 million people still live without electricity. Reliable power is the foundation for health, industry and opportunity. We exist to close that gap.
Our name
Amaanyi is Luganda for power and strength. A volt is the unit of electric potential. Together: the power to grow.
A Ugandan word and an engineering term: local roots, international standards.
Vision
An Africa powered by its own sun.
Reliable, affordable, clean electricity for every home, school, clinic and business on the continent.
Mission
To develop, finance and deliver bankable energy infrastructure that brings firm, clean power to African grids, together with the skills and industry that grow around it. We build to international standards, in partnership with governments and communities.
Our development model
Energy first. Then industry, skills and scale.
Korea went from one of the world’s poorest nations to a leading economy in two generations. The sequence mattered, and we apply it to every project.
Energy
Solve the bottleneck first: firm, reliable power, including the evening peak.
Industry
Anchor light industry and local enterprise to that power.
Skills
Train the technicians and tradespeople that power and industry need.
Scale
Grow step by step, each phase proven before the next.
